Eagles QB Controversy Brewing: Kolb Or Vick?

The Eagles may have a quarterback controversy on their hands headed into their Week 8 bye. Kevin Kolb was excellent on Sunday against the Falcons, completing 23 of 29 passes for 326 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Kolb opened the season as the starter before falling to injury and losing his job to the resurgent Michael Vick. Vick, of course, played extremely well and took the starting job away from Kolb. Now that Vick's hurt, Kolb has started - and won - the past two weeks for the Eagles. If Kolb plays well against the Titans headed into their bye week, will there be controversy in Philly?

Andy Reid said in his press conference address Vick and the starting quarterback situation that "he's a starting quarterback now." Not that he was the Eagles starting quarterback or his starting quarterback but just "a" starting quarterback.

It looks like the job is up for grabs. Maybe this will somehow cause a schism in the Eagles locker room and help the Dallas Cowboys make a magical run into the playoffs.

Probably not, but it's something to keep an eye on.
