Baylor Vs. Sam Houston State: Bears Trail At Halftime, 20-10

The Baylor Bears trail the Sam Houston State Bearkats at halftime, 20-10, in what might not be so much of a cakewalk for Baylor after all.

Baylor traded field goals with SHSU in the first quarter before things picked up in the second. The Bearkats took a surprising lead in the second quarter on Miguel Antonio's second field goal of the game. Baylor responded with a five-play, 77-yard touchdown drive capped by a 22-yard touchdown pass to from Nick Florence to Terrence Williams.

It was all SHSU from there. Quarterback Brian Bell rushed for a touchdown to regain the lead for the Kats. Then Bell connected with running back Timothy Flanders for a 26-yard touchdown toss to give SHSU a two-possession advantage at halftime.
