Baylor Vs. Sam Houston State: Bearkats Are 2011 FCS Runner Ups

The Baylor Bears may have steamed through the SMU Mustangs in their first game of the season, but they still can't afford to look ahead in their schedule past Sam Houston State, who they play on Saturday.

Not only were the Bearkats the runners-up in the FCS last season, but they had a pretty solid year en route to that title. They won every game up until the title game, with blowout scores like 66-0 on their record. They took a win from New Mexico as well, needing overtime to prevail 48-45 over the Lobos.

North Dakota State, who won the FCS last season, have already picked up a win over an FBS team this year. They took a very convincing 22-7 win from the Colorado State Rams last weekend, so Baylor may want to watch out for the upset bid from the team that came in second in the level below.
