Former Baylor Bears wide receiver Kendall Wright was selected by the Tennessee Titans as the No. 20 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. As NFL training camps have begun, Wright was one of the last draft picks to sign to a contract, but he may be very close to finally signing with the Titans.
Titans Insider reports that the deal is now done and signing is eminent. The Tennessean reports that the contract could be signed as early as Tuesday. Wright will sign the standard four-year deal for draft picks, which is expected to be in the neighborhood of $8.2 million.
Wright has already missed the first three days of Titans training camp, so the team would like to get him signed as quickly as possible.
