NFL Draft 2012: Jets Sign Baylor OL Robert T. Griffin, According To Report

The Baylor Bears had not one, but two Robert Griffins selected in the 2012 NFL Draft. While Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III was famously drafted No. 2 overall by the Washington Redskins, offensive lineman Robert T. Griffin was selected by the New York Jets in the sixth round, as the No. 203 overall selection. Now it appears as though both Baylor players have been locked up by their new teams.

According to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News, the Jets have agreed to terms on a four-year contract with Griffin. The four-year deal is standard for all rookies signed out of the draft.

Griffin is a native of Euless, TX and went to Trinity High School. He played at Navarro College before transferring to Baylor in 2010. Griffin made first-team All-Big 12 in 2011.
