Baylor's Other Robert Griffin Profiled By SI.com

As an offensive lineman, it always helps when the QB your blocking for is an All-American: the more scouts there are at your games and the more front-office personnel there are watching your film, the easier it is for you to be noticed.

There may be a diminishing return when you actually share his name, as the agent for Baylor OL Robert T. Griffin told SI.com:

"I always had to make it clear I was talking about Robert T. Griffin,'' Bass said. "The offensive lineman. And then I'd put in parentheses, not RG3. Not that it always helped. It still got to be pretty interesting at times.''

"Big Griff" or "RG2" is a 6'6 330 lineman who started the last two seasons for Baylor at OG. He's considered a prospect in the late rounds, but he'll most likely be a priority free agent.

One wonders at how Ian Mahinmi's free agent stock would be affected if he changed his name to "Dirk T. Nowitzki".
