The Baylor Bears let another game get away from them as they lost to the Iowa St. Cyclones 80-72 in their final game of the season. Perry Jackson's career-high 35 points were wasted in the loss as he was one of two Baylor players to score in double figures, the other was Perry Jones III who had 10 points. Outside of those two no other Baylor player was able to provide offense.
When looking at Iowa State they were the complete opposite as they had all five starters score in double figures with Scott Christopherson leading the way with 23 points.
Baylor had an eight-point lead in the second half but Iowa State went on a 12-3 run and then Baylor went on a five minute scoring drought late in the second half which allowed Iowa State to go ahead for good and beat No. 10 ranked Baylor.
