Baylor Vs. Iowa State Halftime Score: Bears Lead Cyclones 37-30

Pierre Jackson is pacing the Baylor Bears with 18 points as they are leading the Iowa St. Cyclones 37-30 at the half. Jackson is the only Baylor playing in double figures and is shooting the ball well and has made 6-of-9 shots from the field including a pair of three-point shots.

Baylor made two runs in the first half in an attempt to pull away from Iowa State, the frist was midway through the first half when Baylor went on an 11-4 run to go up 21-15. Well, Iowa State made their own comeback and to tie the game at 27 apiece on a Scott Christopherson jumper. Baylor then responded and went on a 10-3 run to take a 37-30 halftime lead.

The Baylor defense has done a good job at shutting down the Iowa State offense and held them to 37 percent shooting in the first half, and is forcing Iowa State to shoot three-pointers where they have made only 2-of-13.
