In Pro Football Talk's latest mock draft, put together by Evan Silva, the Indianapolis Colts do something a little surprising with their first-overall pick. For months it has been assumed that the Colts would take Stanford quarterback Andrew Luck with the No. 1 pick, especially since they have officially released Peyton Manning. Silva is predicting, though, that the Colts may shake things up a little by taking Baylor Bears Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III with the first overall pick.
1. Colts: Robert Griffin III, quarterback, Baylor.
In an upset, the Colts opt for the most gifted quarterback in the draft.
RG3 had an incredible season in 2011 and impressed a lot of scouts and coaches at the combine in interviews. The Washington Redskins traded about about a billion picks to move up from No. 6 to No. 2 to select him. If the Colts decide to go for RG3 instead of Luck, I'm sure the Redskins wouldn't complain too much.
