March Madness Schedule 2012: Sweet 16 Kicks Off Thursday

The second week of March Madness continues on Thursday, as four of the eight Sweet 16 games are scheduled for Thursday. Baylor fans will be able to relax and enjoy four basketball games Thursday, as the Bears won't be playing until Friday night.

The East and West regionals will both get underway on Thursday, as the top-seeded Syracuse Orange take on the Wisconsin Badgers at 6:15 p.m. CT in the East regional. Second-seeded Ohio State will take on sixth-seeded Cincinnati in the East regional as well, with tip-off scheduled for 8:45 p.m. CT on Thursday night. Both East regional games will be televised on CBS.

In the West regional, No. 1 seed Michigan State will take on No. 4 Louisville at 6:47 p.m. CT. That game will be followed by No. 7 Florida taking on No. 3 Marquette at 9:17 p.m. CT. Both games will be televised on TBS.

Baylor will get underway on Friday night at 6:15 p.m. CT, as they take on the tenth-seeded Xavier Musketeers in the South regional. Kentucky will then take on Indiana at 8:45 p.m. CT in the other South regional semifinal game. The South regional semifinal games will be televised on CBS.

Finally, the Midwest regional semifinals tip off at 6:47 p.m. CT, as the Cinderella Ohio Bobcats take on North Carolina. The second-seeded Kansas Jayhawks will take on the eleventh-seeded North Carolina State Wolfpack at 9:17 p.m. CT. Both Midwest regional semifinal games will be televised on TBS.
