2012 NFL Mock Draft: Cowboys Could Look At A Pass Rusher

With the signings of Brandon Carr, Brodney Pool and Nate Livings in the first week of NFL free agency this off-season, the Dallas Cowboys don't have as many pressing needs headed into the draft as they did two months ago.

As a result, they are free to select the best player available instead of going for a need, which is why the latest SB Nation NFL Mock Draft has Dallas looking at OLB Melvin Ingram out of South Carolina:

Salary cap punishment or not, Jerry Jones filled his hat with free agents, most notably Brandon Carr. They also used the franchise tag to keep Anthony Spencer. Adding another pass rusher would only help the defense stay competitive in the NFC East.

Ingram is the No. 9 overall prospect according to NFLDraftScout.com, and is coming off a strong Capital One Bowl performance against Nebraska, where he had four tackles and one sack.
