Baylor Vs. South Dakota State Final Score: Bears Advance By Defeating Jackrabbits, 68-60

The Baylor Bears held off a comeback attempt by South Dakota St. Jackrabbits to win 68-60 to advance. South Dakota State went on an 8-2 run to make it a 64-60 game with 1:20 left, and they had a chance to make it a one-point game but Brayden Carlson missed a three-point shot with 31 second left.

Chad White who scored 15 points and went 5-of-9 from three-point range had a chance to cut the lead to three with under 20 seconds left but his shot fell short. Baylor would make their free throws down the rest of the way to seal the victory.

South Dakota State was led by Nate Wolters who scored 19 points and White who had 15 points, but the two players shots down the stretch were not falling.

Baylor's offense struggled tonight and in particular Perry Jones III had an off night as he went one-of-six shooting and had only two points. The bench came up big for Baylor tonight with Brady Heslip scoring 17 points and Quincy Miller adding 10 points.
