Baylor Vs. South Dakota State Halftime Score: Bears Lead Jackrabbits 36-28

The Baylor Bears fell behind by as many as 12 points against No. 14 seeded South Dakota St. Jackrabbits behind their star guar Nate Wolters who has nine points at the half. Baylor recovered from trailing 19-7 to outscore South Dakota State 29-9 the rest of the way to lead 36-28 at the half. Once Baylor got their nerves out of the way they looked like the team that they are capable of being.

Pierre Jackson is leading Baylor in scoring and has 12 points on four-of-six shooting which includes a pair of three-point shots. Big 12 preseason Player of the Year Perry Jones III is struggling tonight as he has taken only three shots and has yet to score, but he has been active on boards with eight rebounds in the first half.
