Baylor Vs. Iowa State Final Score: Bears Get Back In Win Column With 79-64 Win

The Baylor Bears grabbed much needed 79-64 win over Iowa State and successfully snapped a two-game losing streak in the process. The Bears front court production had been off during the losing streak but they got back on track against the Cyclones Monday night.

Baylor jumped out to a 31-24 lead at halftime but extended its lead in the second half to double figures by taking the ball inside. For the game, the Bears hit 60 percent of its field goal attempts and was led by Perry Jones III 18 points and seven rebounds. Quincy Miller added 16 points while Anthony Jones and Quincy Ash added 12 and 11 points respectively. Pierre Jackson controlled the game scoring eight points while handing out a game high nine assists.

Melvin Ejim led the Cyclones with 17 points who made a habit of bombing away from the outside against the Baylor zone. Iowa State hit just 8-26 three-point attempts in the game. Royce White added 14 points while Chris Babb and Percy Gibson scored nine points each.
