2012 Holiday Bowl final score: Baylor's offensive onslaught too much for UCLA

The Baylor Bears put on an offensive show, and the UCLA Bruins couldn't keep up in the Holiday Bowl.

The Baylor Bears put on a show in their bowl game for the second consecutive season, only this time, the other team didn't happen to do the same. The Bears jumped out early against the No. 17 UCLA Bruins and dominated throughout a 49-26 win on Thursday night in the Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl.

The Bears used a balanced offensive attack to knock off the Bruins as quarterback Nick Florence finished with 188 yards and two touchdowns. But the Bears' running game was the true story as the team combined for 306 yards on 67 carries and five touchdowns, led by Lache Seastrunk's 138 yards on 16 carries and one touchdown and Glasco Martin's 98 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries.

The Bruins were led by Brett Hundley's 329 yards and three touchdowns, but didn't get anything out of a running game that could only muster 33 yards on 28 carries. Jerry Johnson pulled in five balls for 116 yards and Shaquelle Evans caught seven passes for 82 yards and a touchdown.

Hundley broke the UCLA single-season passing yardage mark with his performance and Florence broke Robert Griffin III's Baylor record for passing yards in a season. The Bears finished the season 8-5 while the Bruins finished 9-5.
