The Baylor Bears smell upset. The Oklahoma St. Cowboys are now in a fight.
The Bears lead the Cowboys, 31-17, at halftime of their Big 12 game on Saturday in Waco.
After the Cowboys got on the board first, the Bears reeled off 21-straight points from the 8:05 mark of the first quarter to the 14:31 mark of the second, including a 26-yard interception return by Eddie Lackey, a Glasco Martin 2-yard touchdown run and a Nick Florence 75-yard touchdown pass to Tevin Reese.
Down 24-3, the Cowboys woke up and scored twice on a touchdown run by J.W. Walsh and a touchdown pass from Clint Chelf to Josh Stewart. But Florence answered right back with a short touchdown run to extend the Bears' lead.
Florence is already putting on a show with 225 yards on 16-for-25 passing and a touchdown. He also rushed for 62 yards on nine carries and a touchdown to lead the Bears in rushing. Reese has 108 yards on five receptions and a touchdown for the Bears.
