The Texas Tech Red Raiders lead the Baylor Bears 21-14 at halftime of their Big 12 rivalry game in Lubbock.

The Red Raiders have never trailed after scoring the first two touchdowns of the game on a Seth Doege 19-yard touchdown run and a Kenny Williams 5-yard touchdown run, both in the first quarter. The Bears answered with a Glasco Martin 1-yard touchdown run at the end of the first.

The Red Raiders built on their lead early in the second quarter on a 3-play, 75-yard drive culminating in a 23-yard touchdown pass from Doege to Eric Ward. The Bears were able to close out the half with an 8-play, 93-yard drive that ended in a 39-yard touchdown pass from Nick Florence to Levi Norwood.

Both teams are putting up offensive numbers. The Bears have outgained the Red Raiders 398-333, but five penalties for 60 yards have not helped.

Lache Seastrunk has 113 yards on 11 carries for the Bears and Doege has 242 yards on 16-for-18 passing, one touchdown and an interception for the Red Raiders.

The Red Raiders are 7-4, 4-4 in the Big 12 while the Bears are 5-5, 2-5 in conference.
