The Baylor Bears shook up the foundation of the BCS standings last weekend with their upset, blowout win over Kansas State. Oddsmakers like their success to continue this week at home against the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
Baylor has opened as a slight 2-point favorite against Texas Tech, according to Odds Shark. The Red Raiders have lost three of their last four games and have allowed over 30 points in five straight games. With Baylor's propensity to put up points (including 52 against the previously unbeaten Wildcats last week), Vegas is expecting a very high scoring game, with the over/under set at 78.
The Bears still have plenty to play for, with two games left to get the ever-important sixth win for bowl eligibility. It's the regular-season finale for Texas Tech (7-4, 4-4), which is basically playing for higher positioning among bowl-eligible Big 12 teams at this point.
Saturday's game between Texas Tech and Baylor takes place from Arlington, Texas, in Cowboys Stadium on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. CT. The game will be televised by FOX. See the rest of this week's college football odds at Odds Shark.
