Baylor vs. Iowa State score update: Cyclones lead 21-14 at half

The Iowa State Cyclones got a touchdown with less than 30 seconds remaining in the first half to take a 21-14 lead over the Baylor Bears at halftime.

Jarred Salubi rushed for a two-yard touchdown to kick off the scoring in the game for the Bears, but Iowa State struck back as Steele Jantz threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to Jarvis West for a tying touchdown.

Less than a minute later the Bears recaptured the lead, as Nick Florence found Tevin Reese for a 49-yard touchdown on the first play of the second quarter. But again, the Cyclones pulled even, as Jantz found Albert Gary for a 36-yard touchdown.

Jantz finally gave Iowa State a lead when he found West for a second time with just 27 seconds left, this time from seven yards out to give the Cyclones a 21-14 lead.

After the first half, the game appears as though it will be a quarterback duel between Jantz and Florence. Jantz has completed 20 of 30 passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns, while Florence has completed 15 of 22 passes for 230 yards and a touchdown.
