Iowa State Cyclones head coach Paul Rhoads is still undecided on which one of his three quarterbacks will start on Saturday against the Baylor Bears, according to Andrew Logue of the Des Moines Register.
Jared Barnett, Steele Jantz and Sam Richardson are all in the running to lead the Cyclones' scuffling offense this weekend. Barnett has completed less than half of his passes this season, but led Iowa State to an upset win over TCU. Barnett also led the team to big victories over ranked Texas Tech and Oklahoma State teams last season. Jantz has been the more accurate passer, but he has thrown more interceptions (18) than touchdowns (17) in his career at Iowa State. Richardson, a freshman, has yet to play this season but is still in the mix for Saturday, per Rhoads.
The Cyclones are 103rd in the nation and last in the Big 12 in total offense, averaging 342.6 yards per game.
