TCU vs. Baylor 2012: Game time, TV schedule, odds and more

A pair of talented one-loss teams will hit the field on Saturday night during busy jam-packed weekend for the Big-12.

Rob Christy-US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Eager to get back on the field and continue their assault of scoreboards across the country, the Baylor Bears will welcome the TCU Horned Frogs to Waco on Saturday evening for a crucial Big-12 showdown.

The Bears should be fully rested after sitting out the previous week on a bye, and will hope to erase memories of a woeful defensive performance against West Virginia on Sept. 29. Despite owning the No. 1-ranked passing offense and No. 2-ranked scoring offense in college football, Baylor has already given up 159 points over four games and will need to once again swing for the fences offensively in order to come out ahead.

Dropped by a pesky Iowa State team over the weekend to spoil their perfect record, the Horned Frogs will also be desperate to get back in the win column on Saturday evening. Also likely to be in search of a new offensive identity following the departure of junior quarterback Casey Pachall from the program, TCU now will be forced to rely on the inexperienced arm of freshman quarterback Trevone Boykin to keep its season afloat.

Where: Floyd Casey Stadium, Waco, TX

Game time: 6 p.m. CT

TV channel: Fox Sports Net
