Baylor Vs. Oklahoma: Game Preview, TV Info And More

The Bears will try to rebound from a two-game losing streak when they travel to Norman to play a rebuilding Sooner program under new coach Lon Kruger.

After two tough losses to top 10 opponents, No. 7 Baylor looks to rebound from their first losing streak of the season when they travel to Norman to play the Oklahoma Sooners on Tuesday night.

Oklahoma, under first year head coach Lon Kruger, has been surprisingly feisty at home this year, beating both Arkansas and Kansas State.

However, the Sooners, still rebuilding from the disastrous end of Jeff Capel's tenure, don't have nearly the talent level of the Bears, who are loaded with NBA prospects up and down their roster.

For a Baylor team trying to end Kansas streak of seven consecutive Big 12 titles and contend for a Final Four appearances, beating Oklahoma is a secondary concern to improving their offensive execution in the half-court as well as their defensive consistency, both season-long problems which ended up costing them against Kansas and Missouri.

The Sooners are led in scoring by 6'4 shooting guard Steven Pledger, averaging 17.2 points a game a contest, and 6'8 post player Andrew Fitzgerald, averaging 13.3 points a night.

The 7:00 PM game will be televised regionally on the Big 12 Network.
