Baylor remained unbeaten and took captured its first conference win of the season 61-52 over Texas A&M. The Bears run their record to 14-0 this season.
Baylor took a 30-17 advantage into halftime and cruised to the win by holding the Aggies to just 28 percent shooting in the game. The Bears also made good use of pounding the ball inside and made the most of their opportunities at the free throw line. Baylor went 19-24 from the charity stripe while Texas A&M was just 9-13.
Perry Jones III led the Bears with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Quincy Ash and Quincy Miller scored 13 and 11 points each. A.J. Walton chipped in 10.
The Aggies were led by Elston Turner who scored a game-high 21 points. Khris Middleton added 14 points for the Aggies in the loss.
