2012 NFL Draft: Robert Griffin III To Inform Baylor Head Coach Of Intent To Go Pro, According To Report

The speculation surrounding the upcoming 2012 NFL Draft is already swirling. It's only expected to heat up now that the bowl season has come to an end and the entire NCAA football season is officially over. More and more players on the fence about entering the upcoming draft will be announcing their intentions in the coming weeks before the deadline.

Recent Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III of the Baylor Bears has been expected to announce his intent to enter the draft for some time now. It appears that the announcement will likely be coming in short order. On Tuesday, Chris Mortenson of ESPN reported that the quarterback would be letting his head coach Art Briles know that he will be turning pro.
