College Football Rankings: Baylor, TCU Finish In Top 15 Of Final AP Poll

On Monday night, a BCS National Champion was crowned as the Alabama Crimson Tide knocked off the LSU Tigers in the Championship Game. Late Monday night and early Tuesday morning, the final polls and standings came trickling out, officially signaling the end of the long and thrilling NCAA football season.

Both the Baylor Bears and the TCU Horned Frogs placed well in these final polls. Courtesy of Sports Illustrated, the final AP poll of the season placed both teams in the top 15.

Baylor made its final jump of the season from No. 15 to finish at No. 13 with 780 votes. Right behind them at No. 14 were the Horned Frogs, also making a jump from No. 16 in the previous AP poll.

The Texas Longhorns missed out on the AP top 25, garnering just 15 votes.
