NCAA Women's Final Four: Baylor Lady Bears Fall To Texas A&M

Unfortunately for Baylor fans, the Lady Bears will not be advancing to this year'rs NCAA Women's Final Four. The Lady Bears were knocked off by Texas A&M on Tuesday night, stunning Baylor by beating them 58-46.

The top-seeded Lady Bears had only suffered two losses headed into the Elite Eight contest, losing to Connecticut and to Texas Tech. Baylor had defeated Texas A&M on three previous occasions this year as well, winning 63-60 in January, 67-58 in February before winning 61-58 in March during the Big 12 Tournament. Unfortunately for the Lady Bears, the last game meant the most and Texas A&M had the last laugh as they cut down the nets to head to A&M's first Final Four in school history.

Baylor wasn't the only No. 1 seed to be knocked out of the tournament, though. The Tennessee Lady Vols fell to Notre Dame earlier, as the Irish advanced to the Final Four. The Aggies and Irish will be joined by No. 1 seeds Stanford and, not surprisingly, Connecticut. The Lady Huskies are aiming for their third consecutive national title.
