Stillwater, OK (Sports Network) – Marshall Moses recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds as he and the Oklahoma State Cowboys posted a 71-60 win over the Baylor Bears in Big 12 Conference action at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Also scoring in double figures for the Cowboys (18-11, 6-9 Big 12) were Keiton Page and Jean-Paul Olukemi with 13 points apiece, followed by Markel Brown and Matt Pilgrim with 10 points apiece as they won their second in a row.
The Bears (18-11, 7-8), losers of three of their last four, were paced by Quincy Acy with 13 points and nine rebounds, followed by A.J. Walton with 12 points and Perry Jones III with 10. LaceDarius Dunn, who is still working towards becoming the all-time leading scorer in conference history, knocked down a miserable 2-of-16 shots from the floor and 1-of-9 behind the three- point line as he finished with a season-low seven points.
Both teams shot below 40 percent from the field in the first half, but Baylor still managed to emerge with a slight 30-27 lead at the break nonetheless.
In the second half the Bears ended with a mere eight field goals, compared to the hosts who hit on 59.1 percent from the floor in grabbing the double-digit win.
Baylor, which finished with 16 turnovers, shot only 35.2 percent from the floor on the night.
