Baylor Vs. Bethune-Cookman: Game Preview, TV Info And More

The undefeated Bears face a low-major opponent before traveling to play BYU on Saturday.

Fresh off a dominating 69-41 road victory at Northwestern on Sunday, the No. 7 Baylor men's basketball team returns to Waco to face Bethune-Cookman, an HBCU located in Daytona Beach, Florida, on Wednesday night.

The 7:00 PM game will be televised regionally on Fox Sports Net and broadcast on ESPN Central Texas Radio.

The Wildcats, a 3-5 low-major squad from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, aren't expected to be much of a challenge for the undefeated Bears.

Baylor has had no problem re-integrating star forward Perry Jones III back into their rotation, after Jones missed the first five games of the season due to amateurism violations from his time in high school.

The 6'11 235 sophomore would have been a top-3 pick in last year's draft, and he's lived up to his accolades in his first two games back, averaging 19.5 points and 6.0 rebounds on 68% shooting.

Bethune-Cookman is a balanced squad featuring four players -- 6'6 senior forward Garius Holloman, 6'5 senior forward Anthony Breeze, 5'9 junior guard Kevin Dukes and 6'5 sophomore guard Adrien Coleman -- averaging between 10 and 12 points a game.

For the Bears, the biggest concern will be looking past their opponent to another high-profile road non-conference game, this time a Dec. 17 date at BYU.
