Baylor Vs. Texas: Bears Score 24 Unanswered Points To Go Up 48-24

The Texas Longhorns scored first in the third quarter by kicking a field goal to tie the game at 24, but from then on it has been all Baylor Bears in the third. Baylor went on to score 24 straight points to now lead 41-24, the two touchdowns came on the ground. One score was a 10-yard run by quarterback Robert Griffin III and the other was Terrance Ganaway on a 1-yard run. On the day Ganaway has two touchdowns and 133 yards so far on the day.

The third touchdown during that stretch was a 39-yard touchdown pass to Terrance Williams. The latest touchdown was set up when Texas' Cody Johnson fumbled the ball and it was recovered by Bayl Ahmad Dixon.

The passing game came alive for Baylor in the second half as Griffin has thrown for more yards in the third quarter and first part of the fourth quarter than he did in the first half.
