What a year it's been for Baylor. Not only did Robert Griffin III win the Heisman Trophy, but the Bears were in the BCS picture this year, and finished a very respectable third in the Big 12 conference this year. On Thursday night, Baylor's spectacular 2011 season will end as they take on the Washington Huskies in the Alamo Bowl.
↵Washington didn't enjoy as much success as the Bears did in 2011. The Huskies finished third in the PAC-12 North division this year, going 7-5 overall and 5-4 in conference. Washington doesn't do anything particularly well offensively, ranking 52nd and 67th respectively in passing and rushing. Sophomore quarterback Keith Price has put together a very solid season replacing first round draft pick Jake Locker. Price has thrown for 2,625 yards and 29 touchdowns against just 11 interceptions while completing 67.4 percent of his passes.
↵Both Baylor and Washington's defense are porous, as both defenses give up over 30 points per game. I'd expect lots of scoring in this game, but RG3 and Baylor's offense should be too much for Washington to keep up with.
↵I'll take the Bears in a shootout, capping off an excellent year for RG3 and Baylor.
