NCAA Football Rankings Week 7: Sooners Rise To The Top Spot Once Again

The Oklahoma Sooners remain atop the Coaches Poll, the Texas Longhorns fall to No. 21

The USA Today Coaches Poll have been released and the Oklahoma Sooners still reign atop the standings this week. Oklahoma's triumphant 55-17 victory over the Texas Longhorns in the annual Red River Rivalry reinforces the Sooners position at No. 1, while Texas takes a tumble down to the No. 21 spot.

Recovering from a tough defeat by Kansas State last week, Baylor Bears recovered with a quality 49-26 victory over Iowa St. Cyclones, leaving them ranked at No. 24 this week
