The Baylor Bears failed to salvage its series against the Oklahoma Sooners on Sunday afternoon, dropping game three, 12-6 at Oklahoma. In front of a crowd of 1,013, Baylor lost its first series since May 2, 2010 according to the school's official athletic website.

Baylor's Tyler Bremer suffered his first loss of the season, giving up five runs over seven hits, lasting only four innings. No. 2 ranked Baylor held a 4-3 lead heading into the bottom of the fifth inning, but relinquished the lead when the Sooners scored three runs over five hits, including a solo home run by right fielder Cody Reine.

The Sooners' sweep over Baylor this past weekend is the Bears' longest stretch of losing since early March when the team lost three straight games to Lamar, TCU and Michigan State.

Baylor ends its regular season this coming week by hosting UTSA and Texas on Tuesday and Thursday, and then playing on the road in two televised games against Texas on Friday and Saturday.
