Inclement weather on Saturday at the 2012 U.S. Open has turned Sunday into a jam-packed day of tennis action. The women's singles final match between Serena Williams and Victoria Azarenka, initially scheduled for Saturday afternoon, will be played at 4:30 p.m. ET at Arthur Ashe Stadium. Azarenka, the current women's No. 1 player in the world, is looking to win her second Grand Slam tournament, while Williams will be seeking her 15th Grand Slam title.
In addition, the men's singles semifinal match between Novak Djokovic and David Ferrer will continue on Sunday morning, beginning at 11:00 a.m ET. At the time the match was postponed on Saturday, Ferrer led 5-2 in the first set. The winner of this semifinal will face Britain's Andy Murray in the men's final, to be played Monday.
The men's semifinal match will be televised on ESPN2. The women's final will be broadcast on CBS.
