BMW Championship Leaderboard: Vijay Singh Takes Lead, Three Lurk One Stroke Back

Vijay Singh shot 6-under in Friday's second round to move to the top of the leaderboard at the BMX Championship. The veteran made birdie on his first three holes and continues on from there, shooting 33 on the front and back nines en route to the lead.

Singh has company, though. He is just one stroke ahead of Ryan Moore, Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods, all of whom sit in a tie for second place. Moore also shot a 6-under 66, while Woods was 5-under for the day and McIlroy shot a 68 as Crooked Stick failed to challenge the world's best golfers again.

Lee Westwood was the big mover on Friday, shooting 7-under to get into a fifth place tie, two shots behind Singh. Padraig Harrington also shot 7-under on Friday, but he's still back in ninth place at 9-under for the tournament.

Texas resident Hunter Mahan was one of the few players who struggled on Friday, shooting a 1-over 73 to fall to 55th place.
