2012 U.S. Open Tennis: Serena Williams, Roberta Vinci Advance To Quarterfinals

The U.S. Open women's quarterfinals bracket is all set after Serena Williams defeated Andrea Hlavackova on Monday, with Italy's Roberta Vinci upsetting Agnieszka Radwanska to advance.

No. 4 seed Serena Williams dominated Hlavackova in the match, 6-0, 6-0, with the American winning 76 percent of first serve points in the match and the Czech managing just nine winners in the 12 games. Williams will move on to face No. 12 Ana Ivanovic in the quarterfinals.

The big upset of the day came when No. 20 Roberta Vinci of Italy defeated Poland's Radwanska, the No. 2 seed in the tournament, 6-1, 6-4. Vinci took advantage of a rather lackluster performance by Radwanska, and will take on No. 10 Sara Errani of Italy in the next round.

The men's round of 16 continues tonight, with No. 3 Andy Murray facing No. 15 Milos Raonic on the main court tonight at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
