The Chicago Bears are set to visit Jerry World this week for a Monday night clash with the Dallas Cowboys. The Bears enter Week 4 at 2-1 on the season and fresh from a 23-6 drubbing of the St. Louis Rams. The Cowboys are also 2-1 and coming off a win, theirs a 16-10 victory over Tampa Bay.
The Cowboys enjoy significant -- but not universal -- support from league experts. All but one of the experts at CBS pick Dallas to win. Just three of ESPN's experts pick against the Cowboys, and two of those three hold the worst records of the ESPN analysts.
Dallas also wins a split decision at Yahoo, taking two of the three votes. The computer simulations and fan polls at those sites also side with the Cowboys.
The experts' decision could change if Bears halfback Matt Forte is available to play, though. Forte has sat out since injuring his ankle in the Bears' Week 2 loss to Green Bay, but told reporters Thursday that he's ready to play if needed.
