Brandt Snedeker shot a 2-under 68 in Sunday's final round to win The TOUR Championship, played at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta. Snedeker finished the tournament at 10-under par, three shots ahead of Justin Rose.
The win gives Snedeker the FedEx Cup title and its $10 million payday. He finished ahead of Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods to win the PGA's season championship. In addition to Sunday's win in Atlanta, Snedeker won the Farmers Insurance Open in January.
Woods finished The TOUR Championship tied for eighth with Hunter Mahan at 2-under. McIlroy tied for 10th with four other golfers at 1-under. Phil Mickelson was 1-under on Sunday and finished at 1-over, good for 15th place.
Luke Donald and Ryan Moore tied for third at 6-under. Webb Simpson and Bubba Watson were 5-under and tied for fifth place.
Snedeker rallied on Saturday to get into contention. He shot a 6-under 64 to pull even with Rose at the top of the leaderboard. Rose shot a 1-over 71 on Sunday.
