2012 Tour Championship: Scott Piercy Leads By 2 Strokes In Opening Round Play

The opening round at the 2012 Tour Championship is underway at East Lake Golf Club, and Scott Piercy is out to an early lead as he's 5-under after 16 holes of play.

Bo Van Pelt is sitting alone in second place at the moment with a 3-under through 13 holes.

Justin Rose, Jim Furyk and Matt Kuchar are all knotted in a three-way tie for second place at 2-under, while Tiger Woods finds himself tied for sixth place at 1-under through five holes, and FedExCup points leader and winner of the PGA, Deutsche Bank, and BMW Championship Rory McIlroy is currently at even-par through five holes.

Texas resident Hunter Mahan is currently at even-par through 14 holes.
