The United States of America took home another two medals in track and field, as Allyson Felix took home the gold medal, while Carmelita Jeter won the bronze medal in the women's 200m.
Sanya Richards-Ross, who resides in Austin, Texas, finished in fifth place with a time of 22.39.
Felix won the race by posting a 21.88 time, over half a second off of the world record set by Florence Griffith Joyner in 1988 (21.34).
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce won the silver medal for Jamaica, with a time of 22.09. Jeter wasn't far behind Fraser-Pryce, as she finished with a time of 22.14.
Another Jamaican finished fourth, as Veronica Campbell-Brown finished just two tenths of a second behind Jeter with a time of 22.38.
Richards-Ross, who won the gold medal in the 400m, will have one more chance to add to her medal count on Saturday, when she participates in the women's 4x400 relay.
