The third day of action at the 2012 U.S. Open will get underway on Wednesday morning from Flushing Meadows, as a number of top men's and women's contenders are set to take the court in hopes of advancing.

Coverage of the third day will begin with Breakfast at the U.S. Open on the Tennis Channel at 4 a.m. CDT, set to air before sporadic live action that will begin five hours later at 9 a.m. and run through the night. Main live coverage of the third round will be available on ESPN2 starting at 9 a.m. as well and will also air until the conclusion of evening matches at 9 p.m..
