The Barclays 2012 Leaderboard: Nick Watney Still On Top, Jimmy Walker Continues To Drop

Nick Watney is only five holes through the third round of the 2012 Barclays tournament at Bethpage Black Course in New York, but he has already taken sole possession of the lead from Sergio Garcia with a trifecta of birdies.

Watney is now 11-under for the tournament, while Garcia is alone in second place at 9-under. He has a pair of birdies of his own on Saturday, but he also bogeyed the par-3 third hole, which has dropped him to two shots beneath the leader.

Baylor University product Jimmy Walker has stumbled down to even-par for the tournament. He finished Friday at 2-under, but three bogeys and a double-bogey have offset three birdies, resulting in a plus-2 through 15 holes. Other notables in action include Tiger Woods, who is even-par through seven holes, and Padraig Harrington, who has completely fallen off the map after being atop the leaderboard at the end of Day 1. Harrington is plus-3 on the day, dropping him to even for the tournament.
