After shooting a 66 in round one at Barclays at Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, N.Y., former Baylor Bear Jimmy Walker had earned a tie for the fourth spot in the tournament, just two strokes behind the leader, Padraig Harrington.
Harrington has yet to tee off for his second round on Friday; however, such is not the case for Walker who has just two holes remaining for his day and has seen his place on the leaderboard fall from No. 4 to No. 19 thanks to three bogeys on the day.
His two over performance thus far, has slowed the momentum gained by a five under performance on Thursday and caused for a fall from the top of the leaderboard.
Gaining ground, though, has been Texas-native, Bob Estes, who is three under par through 12 and up 21 spots to take a tie for the fifth spot, two strokes off the lead.
