While the Dallas Mavericks finished their 2012 offseason with O.J. Mayo, the bloggers at SB Nation's Mavericks site, Mavs Moneyball, aren't supremely impressed with the moves the Mavs made over the summer. In fact, it's the moves they didn't make that are the cause for complaints.
For me, I was most disappointed in myself, for not trusting the Maverick front office to have a backup plan after they failed to sign Deron. Things looked pretty bleak, that's for certain, and there were people from all different directions of the interwebs damning the coming season to the lottery.
Deron Williams was a target that the Mavericks made no secret about going after and didn't get much else after missing out on that sweepstakes. Instead, they'll have to be satisfied with Mayo.
