2012 London Olympics: Team USA Women's Volleyball Falls To Brazil In Final, Wins Silver Medal

The United States will take home the women's volleyball silver medal after losing in four sets to Brazil during the gold medal match Saturday at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.

The United States dominated the first set 25-11 and it looked like the women would avenge their defeat in the final four years ago. However, Brazil recovered and roared back, showing their strength to win the second set, 25-17. The third set was close to the every end but Brazil proved to be too strong. The Brazilians never trailed as they took five of the last six points and won the third set, 25-20.

in the fourth and what proved to be the final set, the American women wilted under the Brazilian attack and lost 25-17. Brazil wins the gold, the United States wins the silver, again.
