2012 PGA Championship Leaderboard Update: Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh, Carl Pettersson Tied For The Lead

After two rounds of the 2012 PGA Championship Tiger Woods has moved up to the top spot at 4-under par and is tied with Vijay Singh and Carl Pettersson. With Woods at the top he is 36 holes away from winning his first major championship since the 2009 U.S. Open. However, this is only the halfway point and there are two golfers tied with Woods and there are seven others who are within three strokes of the lead.

Woods made his move to the top of the leaderboard as he shot a 1-under par round of 71 in Friday's round which included three birdies and two bogies.

What also helped in Woods moving to the top was that Pettersson, who was the leader after the first round, shot a 2-over par in his second round to fall back to the pack. Pettersson had a rough stretch where he bogied five of seven holes.

As for Singh, he had a round where he shot a 3-under par to improve to 4-under for the round. His round saw him convert five total birdies -- three of them in the first seven holes -- with a pair of bogies.
