Eddie Johnson of the Seattle Sounders scored in the first minute of stoppage time as the MLS All-Stars defeated Chelsea of the English Premier League 3-2 in the 2012 MLS All-Star Game at PPL Park in Philadelphia, PA.
San Jose's Chris Wondolowski opened the scoring, slotting a shot past Henrique Hilario to give the All-Stars a 1-0 lead in the 21st minute.
Chelsea answered right back in the 32nd minute as John Terry headed home a Frank Lampard corner past Sporting Kansas City's Jimmy Neisen to tie the match at 1-1. Chelsea took the lead in the 58th minute as Lampard tapped in a beautiful cross from Ramires that went over the head of Chivas USA keeper Andy Kennedy to give Chelsea a 2-1 advantage.
The All-Stars tied things up in the 73rd minute as DC United's Dwayne De Rosario found his teammate Chris Pontius streaking towards the goal, and Pontius was able to push his shot past Ross Turnbull to make it 2-2.
The game winner happened in the 91st minute, as Johnson's shot was deflected by David Luiz and left Turnbull flat-footed. The Chelsea could only stare and watch as the shot slowly trickled into the back of the net for the game winner.
Brek Shea was the sole representative for FC Dallas on the All-Star roster, however he did not see the pitch.
