Rangers Vs. Red Sox: Scott Feldman Shuts Down Boston In 9-1 Win

Scott Feldman allowed one earned run over seven innings and the Texas bats roughed up Boston pitching as the Rangers opened the series with a dominating 9-1 win in Arlington on Monday night.

The Red Sox scored first, but a four-run third from Texas turned things around. The Rangers scored five in the sixth inning, chasing Boston starter Felix Doubront and scoring the final three runs off reliever Franklin Morales.

Ian Kinsler went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, while Josh Hamilton went 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored. Mike Napoli went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer.

Robbie Ross and Tanner Scheppers each pitched a scoreless inning of relief.
