2012 British Open Leaderboard: Tiger Woods Slips As Zach Johnson Makes Run

This can't be how Tiger Woods was hoping to kick off Round 3 of the 2012 British Open. Woods bogeyed two of his first three holes of the day, shooting 1-over through five holes and dropping into a tie for third. A bogey on his fifth hole has dropped Brandt Snedeker into a tie for first with Adam Scott, who is shooting par through five holes.

Zach Johnson and Ernie Els have both put in strong performances to gain some ground on the leaders, with the pair currently tied with Woods for third place at 5-under on the tournament. Johnson is shooting 4-under through 15 holes, while Els is at 2-under through his eight.

Local golfer Hunter Mahan had a quiet day, shooting a par 70, but still managed to move up 11 places into a tie for 29th. He currently stands at 1-over for the tournament.
