The second week of Wimbledon kicks off on Monday with both the men's and women's bracket down to 16 players.
On the court first for the women this morning is Serena Williams, who will try to advance to the quarterfinals by beating Yaroslava Shvedova of Kazakhstan.
On the men's side, things begin with Roger Federer taking on Belgium's Xavier Malisse.
American Mardy Fish will try to continue his run as he faces fifth-seeded Frenchman Jo-Wilfred Tsonga. With Rafael Nadal eliminated from his side of the bracket, an upset over Tsonga could have Fish angling for his deepest run in a major tournament. Fish should begin sometime this afternoon as he is the third and final match of the day on Court No. 2.
The matchup of the day, though, figures to be seventh-seeded David Ferrer of Spain against ninth-seed Juan Martin Del Potro of Argentina. That will likely be one of the last matches of Monday as it is the third on Court No. 1.
