The Baylor Bears (48-15), the No. 4 national seed in the 2012 NCAA Baseball Tournament, battled out of the losers' bracket - playing four straight elimination games - at their own host regional last weekend to defeat Dallas Baptist and continue their march to the College World Series in Omaha.
Baylor will face Arkansas (42-19), who used pitching to upset Rice at the Houston Regional last weekend. The two teams haven't met since a regular season game in 1998. The teams have never met in the NCAA Tournament.
